Overview

A partner environment should be created before DNS is configured. This allows branding, users and operational settings to be prepared without waiting for domain propagation.

Step 1 — Open Partner Manager

From the administrator navigation, open Partner Manager and select Create Partner.

Step 2 — Enter the partner details

  • Partner or company name
  • Partner slug
  • Primary contact
  • Contact email
  • Initial administrator

Step 3 — Create the temporary onboarding address

The standard onboarding format is:

https://go.egmw.one/partnername
Best practice

Use a short, recognisable partner slug. Avoid spaces, punctuation and unnecessary words.

Step 4 — Invite the partner

After the environment is created, provide the temporary URL and login instructions. The partner can upload branding assets and review the platform immediately.

Step 5 — Configure the production domain

Once the partner has approved the environment, configure DNS and SSL for the final domain, such as portal.partner.com.

Do not activate the production domain too early

Confirm that the DNS record is correct and the SSL certificate is active before redirecting users to the custom domain.
