How releases appear

Music delivered to YouTube Music may appear on an automatically generated artist or Topic presence. This is separate from uploading a normal video to your own YouTube channel.

Official Artist Channel

An Official Artist Channel can bring eligible artist content together in one recognised channel experience. Eligibility and processing are controlled by YouTube.

Avoid duplicate audio uploads

You may upload music videos, visualisers and promotional content to your own channel. Take care when uploading an identical full audio master because duplicate versions can confuse listeners and reporting.

Incorrect artist mapping
