How delivery works

When TikTok is selected and the release is accepted, an eligible audio recording can be delivered for use in the platform’s music library.

Official sound versus user-created sound

An official distributed sound is not the same as audio extracted from a user-uploaded video. User-created sounds can coexist with the officially delivered recording.

Finding your audio

  • Search the exact track title and artist name.
  • Check the sound details before using it.
  • Allow time after the release goes live for platform indexing.
