What this module covers

Artist OS can first be opened through its official onboarding address and later connected to a branded domain or subdomain. This section explains the complete process without requiring advanced technical knowledge.

The normal setup order

  1. Confirm that the Artist OS environment works on its temporary URL.
  2. Choose the final domain or subdomain.
  3. Add that address in Artist OS.
  4. Create the requested DNS record at the domain provider.
  5. Wait until the record is visible.
  6. Verify HTTPS before sharing the address publicly.
Keep the temporary URL available

Do not remove the onboarding address while the custom domain is still being configured. It gives you a reliable way to reach Artist OS during setup.
