The domain does not open

  • Check for spelling mistakes in the domain.
  • Confirm that the CNAME record exists and is enabled.
  • Compare the Name and Target fields with the instructions.
  • Remove conflicting records for the same hostname.
  • Allow time for DNS propagation.

The wrong website appears

An older A, AAAA or CNAME record may still be active, or your network may still be using cached DNS information.

HTTPS shows a warning

Do not publish the domain yet. First confirm that DNS points correctly to Artist OS, then allow time for the certificate to become active.

The domain works only on some devices

This normally indicates DNS caching or propagation. Test with mobile data, another Wi-Fi network or a private browser window.

Information to collect before asking for help

Provide the exact domain, DNS record type, Name/Host, Target/Value, when the change was saved and a screenshot of any browser warning.
