Editing Artist Profiles

Artist information changes over time. Artist OS allows authorised users to update profile details without creating a duplicate artist.

Open an Existing Profile

  1. Open Artist Profiles.
  2. Select the artist you want to update.
  3. Choose Edit Profile.
  4. Make the required changes.
  5. Save and verify the updated profile.

Information You Can Update

  • Artist name and display information
  • Biography
  • Profile and header images
  • Genres and country
  • Website and social media links
  • Streaming platform links

Important Considerations

Changing an artist name can affect catalogue consistency. Confirm that the same name is used across releases and streaming services before making a major identity change.
