Creating an Artist Profile

An artist profile is the central identity used throughout Artist OS. Create a separate profile for every artist you manage so releases, Smart Links and promotional information remain correctly organised.

Before You Begin

  • Confirm the official artist name and spelling.
  • Prepare a current biography and high-quality profile image.
  • Collect official website, social media and streaming links.
  • Choose the most accurate genres and country information.

Create the Profile

  1. Open Artist Profiles.
  2. Select Create Artist or Add Artist.
  3. Enter the required identity and profile information.
  4. Upload the artist image.
  5. Add official social and streaming links.
  6. Review the details and save the profile.

Best Practices

  • Use one profile per artist or group.
  • Use the same official spelling used by streaming services.
  • Complete the profile before creating a release.
  • Review all information before saving.
